About SFMCCF

Strength in Unity

Since the days of the Gold Rush, minority-owned businesses have served as the Bay Area’s backbone of economic prosperity.

The earliest minority-focused business associations date back to 1852, and SFMCCF builds upon this proud legacy as we foster the vibrant network of ethnic chambers of today.

Traditionally, ethnic Chambers of Commerce worked tirelessly in their own lanes. But SFMCCF promises to usher in a new era, because silos have ceilings—and our communities deserve more.

The Turning Point

The idea for SFMCCF was first proposed during a casual lunch on June 12, 2023. Out of these humble beginnings of an idea, to a spark for a greater movement in San Francisco--SFMCCF was born.

Today, as our organization trades individual efforts for collective power we achieve maximum effectiveness uniting together.

In 2025, our coalition didn't just talk; we delivered. By uniting our voices, we secured the passage of Proposition M, protecting thousands of small businesses from closure and rewriting the future of San Francisco’s entrepreneurship.

Our Mission

The aim of the San Francisco Minority Chamber of Commerce Foundation is simple: to work in coalition to create an environment of prosperity for small businesses in our Member organizations.

We stand on the economic growth that shaped this city’s past and are building a resilient future to define its tomorrow.

When we unite, we win.
